"Welcome to Pixelshot. I am a South African creative soul and free spirit living on the remote, unspoiled West Coast. After a career in the corporate world and real estate, I traded the city's hustle for the quiet rhythm of the Atlantic tides. At 67, I am still embracing new adventures—from my first time in a kayak to capturing the local lighthouse that guides our shores. My photography is a celebration of the 'flow' of life, much like my love for watercolor painting. Whether it’s the flight of an oystercatcher, a family of guinea fowl exploring the dunes, or a sunset shared with my husband, I believe there is magnificent beauty all around us if we just take the time to look. I’ve been fortunate to travel quite extensively —from South America to the Maldives—but I find my greatest inspiration right here at home. I hope these images bring a sense of peace and meaningful connection to your space."
